I’m a tea addict & I’m always captured by new flavors!
I was introduced to Kusmi Tea through my sister back in 2012, when she gifted me the“Sweet Love” box.
And I’ve been following up all Kusmi Tea campaigns, and was amazed by the last one.
The last campaign by Kusmi Tea is a more fashionable one, it’s about their collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier.
For a limited time only, we will be blessed by a revamped collection by Jean Paul Gaultier. He redesigned the tins of Anastasia (black tea, bergamot, and orange blossom) and Prince Wladimir blends (black tea, vanilla, citrus, and spices).
The art covering the tins was dominant with sailor stripes and tattoo inspired roses to express both masculine and feminine aspects. Additional tea flavors will receive the Gaultier logo later in the year.
The campaign will be unveiled on April 1st, during the Jean Paul Gaultier Exhibit to be held at the Grand Palais. Then the flavors will be available in their boutiques across Europe and on their website. Hopefully they will reach Lebanon soon!
A make up pouch for me should be very practical, it should be big enough to put my basic cosmetics, but not too big, to fit in my daily bag.
I always had leather pouches sometimes with a mirror sometimes without, until I recently started using this simple transparent make up pouch from The Body Shop and I realized that it was the greatest invention of all times (At least for me!).
I get really irritated when I search for an item that I know is in my makeup pouch and can’t find it. So I have to take out everything, one at a time until I find what I really need.
This transparent makeup pouch is very simple, no extra pockets, no mirror, but the very positive thing about it is that it’s transparent!
Being transparent, I can see exactly what I’ve got in there. It is very convenient to see at a glance where your items are. No need to turn out the whole pouch every time you are looking for something!
I’ve been wanting to go on a vacation since summer, but it wasn’t happening, friends having other things in their plate… until I decided to do it on my own!
People started telling me that I’m crazy and that I will get bored, but I can tell you that it was the most amazing vacation I ever had!
I think it’s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.” ― Oscar Wilde
A lot of people can’t imagine travelling alone, they always need to have someone of their friends, family with them. They find it scary, they don’t wanna feel lonely, no one to share the experience with…
However travelling solo can be a lot of fun for adventurous people, here’s how
1- Learn more about yourself
Being a little out of the comfort zone and norm can be a good thing. It usually opens up a new way of thinking and seeing the world.
You decided to go to a certain destination solo. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. This is when you really start listening to yourself, to your heart and do the things YOU really want to do!
You start to discover yourself again, you find out about the things that scare you and the things you can do. You will face your fears and defeat them!
When you are travelling with someone, you tend to stick to the people you are with. But when you’re travelling solo, you meet new people every day, you team up with other foreigners who are discovering the country, just as you. You Socialize More!
You make new friends, and you learn about different cultures.
3- Experience new things
When you travel alone, you do much more things than when you are travelling with someone and you do the things you really love to do!
When you’re travelling alone, people are more friendly with you, and share everything they have with you.
When you travel alone, you plan things the way you want. You can be flexible with time, wake up when you want, go sightseeing or shopping, team up with other tourists…
When you travel, you are open to change and you will welcome it with open arms.
5- Gain confidence
Being alone on the road can be a real challenge, you will have to take decisions or even risks and those experiences will make you feel stronger, braver and much more confident!
6- Indulge in anything you want
Food, whether street food or restaurant food, is the most enjoyable thing when travelling.
When travelling alone, you open up to new cultures and start trying new kinds of food, things you don’t usually have in your own country.
Wurst in Prague
Potato in Vienna
In Prague, I have a lot of pork in different ways. In Vienna I tasted street food. In Budapest I had duck and goose!
7- No to Drama!
How many times did you argue with your travel buddy on silly things? And if things don’t go well, your trip will be so miserable you wish to go back home.
When you’re alone, there’s no one to fight with! it’s your trip, make the most out of it!
And of course, don’t forget to keep informing your family that you’re safe and that you’re having the time of your life!
Did you travel solo before? How was your experience?

A lot of you know my passion for sports, and in my fit journey I have met and still meeting a lot of great Lebanese trainers. They are so good at what they do, so I decided to introduce them to you one by one.
Since March is dedicated to Women, I’ll be introducing today a beautiful and energetic lady, who is so passionate about her work.
Meet Rana Khalil
1- Can you tell us a little about your background and how you got started in training? And how long have you been a personal trainer?
I originally studied business marketing and advertising at the American University of Science and Technology. I started working at the age of 18 in the food industry, and I really loved what I did since it involved lots of interaction with people. I always loved people
Anyways, after my graduation, I worked in my major, still in the F&B domain. But still, I was always eager to do something on my own. What happened exactly 5 years ago: my dad talking me out of being employed… and that was it. I quit.
Why the fitness world? I always like to work out, actually I always believed that I should have been an acrobat (not in this country though). My brother Rabih is a chiropractor, and runs his clinic, and I had the opportunity to share with him my cute studio (thank you brother).
I took my course with IFPA, and I am currently now certified as a personal trainer. I also took a specialty course in hair removal (electrolysis and laser) which I practice as well at the same location.
And this is how it began… 5 years ago!
2- How do you keep your fitness training knowledge up to date?
Just like in any other field, you have to practice what you preach. And that’s what I do. I train, eat well and healthy (no I don’t crave myself!). I live the good life and enjoy it. Training isn’t only about going to the gym. I practice some yoga, go on hikes, have adventures, travel, sleep, dance. You got to do everything good for you.
But what is more important, is to stay up to date in your field. Always read articles, learn more, see what people, practice different kind of sports, read books, and of course take workshops. I already took suspension trainer and kettle-bell workshops, and I’m planning to take my Pilates certification in Montreal Canada very soon!!!
3- What evaluations do you conduct on a new client who wants to begin a fitness regimen?
Evaluating your client is the major step in starting this journey!
Each person exercises for a purpose. It is not only about losing weight. But mostly, all evaluations include: flexibility, endurance, balance and coordination, eating habits, injuries, posture, psychological or bad habits … you must know your client!
And let me add, evaluation must be constant. It’s the trainer’s agenda for each client. it requires daily follow ups if possible!
4- How important is nutrition to you in creating clients’ regimens?
They say nutrition is 80% of a fitness plan! It is that important! Anyways, I believe that healthy eating is what matters.
5- What do you think is the top motivation tactic that you use when it comes to your clients?
Motivation is almost half of what I do! As I mentioned before, you practice what you preach, that is part of motivation. Also, following up, keeping contact, being available (when available of course), and always make sure no one would prefer going to throw him/herself on the couch instead of working out. Caring and performing exactly according to plan is a motivator as well. A personal trainer is not just a duty or a robot making you exercise.
Rana’s studio is located in Boulevard Sin El Fil, Maalouf Center, 8th floor.
If you haven’t had the chance to visit Caffe Mondo, here’s a small introduction.
Caffe Mondo located on the Ground Floor of Phoenicia Hotel, is a casual and fashionable young Italian restaurant, offering a wide variety of pizza, pasta as well as authentic homemade style daily specials. The restaurant also features an irresistible salad bar and an alfresco seasonal terrace.
Just as I came back from my vacation, I had the pleasure to enjoy an exquisite dinner and taste some of its new items.
As a start I tried the Fried Eggplants, which is one of their specialties, it’s served with bell pepper sauce and melted mozzarella!
I also tasted the Burrata with Zaatar and the Crispy Calamari
Then I had the Picante with Chicken Pizza and the Penne with Sea Food Pasta that comes with white herb sauce, lime and ginger.

And to end it well, I had to try the signature Mondo Tiramissu and the chocolate fudge cake!
It was Oh So Delicious!
Dress that I’m wearing is from Vero Moda (Last Year’s collection)
Did you visit Caffe Mondo lately? Which is your favorite item from their menu?
Two days ago Nisrette and I went to LUSH in ABC Achrafieh to watch Aline from Nouchalinegetting her hands dirty by creating her signature facial mask.
We got to have one sample if it, we still didn’t have the time to try it on, but we’ll make sure to share our feedback about it once we do

A lot of you know how much I love the color Yellow!
Today I’m gonna share with you two of my favorite winter yellow items.
My Aigle Lolly Pop yellow rain boots
The Aigle rain boots is soft and very comfortable to wear. I usually wear it when I’m lazy and tired from heels.
The white pinstripes in natural rubber give the LOLLY POP contrast with the dominant color yellow. The rubber boot provides 100% protection from water, and the non-slip sole provides the necessary support even on wet surfaces.
And my Sunshine Yellow O’Neill Fleece
This high and cozy neck jumper comes in regular fit, it is crafted from super comfortable double-sided brushed poly fleece.
I liked it, because of the color of course, also because of the Zipper that let’s me breath.
I’m not a turtle neck lover, it suffocates me, but the zipper in this jumper makes it cooler, I can open it when it’s warm and close it or hide the scarf in it when it’s really cold.
This is a perfect item to keep you warm during your extreme sports adventures!
I paired both items with Calzedonia push up leggings that gives an extraordinary shaping effect, together with a great comfort sensation.
