I got the chance to discover the new premium active compact, the luxurious and distinctive Infiniti Q30 in Moonlight White.
I was well received at Rymco by the sales consultant who gave me a detailed description of the car and how it functions.
I got into the car, fixed the seats and mirrors and was ready to go. I also connected my phone to it through Bluetooth, which allowed me to listen to my playlist and make phone calls easily.
I thought it will take me a while to get used to driving it, but it was smooth and easy to get familiarized with.
I had the chance to keep the car for the weekend, so what better than a road trip to check its performance.
For my first ride, I took the Emile Lahoud highway from Nahr El Mot till Himlaya to catch the sunset.
The car was very efficient with smooth gear changes. The paddle shifters on the steering wheel gives you fingertip control over gear selection.
At night, I went to Tripoli to watch Alessandro Safina in concert.
While driving in the traffic, I could hear a beep sound, that was an alert given when a moving object is getting close by and the appropriate camera is highlighted on the screen to show which side.
It was very crowded at Rachid Karame exhibition center and very few parking spots left, but the parking is never a problem with the New Infiniti Q30.
With the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and front and rear Parking Sensor System, 4 cameras and virtual 360 degrees view from above, it is easy to see and maneuver in even the tightest spaces.
The next day I drove it in the tight roads of Beit Mery
Later that day, I attended my cousin’s wedding in Naas Bikfaya, it was freezing cold. When we left the ceremony it was 1 degree and we were afraid of slippery roads but the Infiniti Q30 gives you the confidence of the ride and makes the driving on wet tarmac a piece of cake.
I was driving the Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), 1.6T, SE, 4 cylinders, 7 speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) for the price of USD 36,900.
You can also find it in 1.6T, Premium for the price of USD 39,900
And in 2.0T, Premium 19” Roofrails for the price of USD 41,900
And in All-Wheel Drive (AWD), 2.0T, Sport, 4 cylinders, 7 speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) for the price of USD 49,900
The Infiniti Q30 is stylish with gracious touches to the exterior design, it combines the sportiness of a coupe with the empowered stance of a crossover.
I really enjoyed driving this car, it has a smart and modern look with sharp character lines, delivers decent performance and is comfortable to drive!
